Full termsThe service
decuff (also called Decuffed, at decuff.ai and decuffed.com) gives you open-weight models through a hosted API and playground, operated by Datost Inc. Models can be wrong, incomplete or offensive, and we don’t promise that every output is filtered or safe. You’re responsible for deciding whether an output is suitable and for reviewing code before running it.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the service.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service for illegal activity, fraud, exploitation, non-consensual abuse, harassment, or harm against real people. Child sexual abuse material and sexual exploitation are prohibited. Don’t evade account restrictions, payment controls, sanctions restrictions or rate limits.
The floor is enumerated on its own page: the acceptable-use walls, in full. A two-stage safety check blocks child sexual abuse material only on confirmation; one strike revokes the key with no refund. We may suspend accounts and revoke keys for violations reported or otherwise brought to our attention, and we respond to valid legal obligations. Report abuse to abuse@decuff.ai.
Accounts and keys
No email is required. Protect your account key, API keys and recovery key. Recovery replaces your keys; without a valid recovery key we can’t restore a lost account. Don’t share keys publicly or transfer purchased credits.
Credits, charges and refunds
Purchased credits are in US dollars, never expire and can only be used on decuff. They can’t be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn. Promotional credits can expire; the date is shown when they’re issued. Each request is charged at the model’s listed rate: we hold the most it could cost, then charge the usage reported for it.
All payments are final, on every payment method. We don’t give refunds, including for unused credits or the rest of a plan period. If you dispute a card payment, we contest the dispute with the account’s usage records. Crypto transfers can’t be reversed; send the exact network, amount and expiry shown on the invoice. Nothing here limits a right the law gives you that can’t be waived by agreement.
Plans and cancellation
When available, the Developer plan costs $20 a month, with the five-hour and weekly usage caps shown in billing. Card renewal terms are shown at checkout. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Crypto periods are prepaid and don’t renew on their own. Paid overflow works only if you turn it on and have prepaid balance.
Availability
Models can be asleep, busy, under maintenance or unavailable. A model still being tested can’t be used. There’s no uptime guarantee. Don’t rely on a feature before it’s available.
Privacy and retained records
The privacy page is part of the service description. Using decuff isn’t anonymous by default. Closing an account doesn’t erase records needed for accounting, security or legal obligations.
Payments and restricted regions
Payment availability depends on the processor, network and applicable requirements. We may decline or pause a payment or account for review. Don’t send funds through a disabled payment method or to an address that isn’t on a current decuff invoice.
